EK-9s is a owned and operated by Barbara Earnhardt in Kannapolis, North Carolina. Barbara has been working and training dogs now for over 15 years. In this time she has trained in AKC sports, UKC sports, NCA, is a member of Piedmont SchH Club, and a Member of the Salisbury Kennel Club. Barbara trains in a varty of different areas with her personal dogs.
Barbara has hands on training of different techques from clicker training, treat training, toy reward, and praise She understands that no two dogs are alike so training has to fit that dogs needs but also what the owner feels comfortable with. Barbara does not board dogs for training, as she feels that "She " can train the dog to listen to her without any problems but it is the owner that needs to learn how to handle, train, and correct their own dog. She offers affordable classes to meet everyone's finical needs, has many different times & dates to accommodates everyone's schedules and also offers private classes.
Barbara welcomes the whole family to come and get involved with the training of the family pet. She invites new owners to come watch, meet and talk with clients that are enrolled with EK-9s Classes. Barbara works with everyday "distractions" so her classes are outside away from the comfort of the house so that the dogs learns where ever they are they have to listen.
